Player Evaluations

Player evaluations will occur on Sunday March 7th with a make-up date of Sunday March 14th. Pitcher and Catcher evaluations will occur on March 4th. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, player evaluations are being moved from Hamline University to the Cooper High School Community Gym. The evaluations will be conducted by a team of impartial evaluators. There are no player evaluations for 8u players. We will conduct 8u only clinics in March with details to follow.

Players who are interested in playing in an age bracket higher than their birthdate must send an email to: [email protected]
The player will need to attend evaluations for the age group they desire to play in as well as their age based evaluation session.CA Heat pays the evaluation for the players age level tryout. If a player wishes to be evaluated at a higher age level, the player must pay the evaluation fee of $30.

Additional details about the tryout process and team formation can be found in the Summer Team Formation page. Optional pre-evaluation practices are available, see our Open Gyms page for additional information and to register.
